#4 was another of the three AMX/3s Teague bought from AMC and after sale
by him to interim owner(s?) in IN and ?, eventually appeared in the fine
AMC collection of Georgian Jim Mimbs. He sold #4 to the Prisma Collection
proprietors in AL who've been soliciting interest in both it at ~$225k and
the AMX/2 pushmobile at ~$25k for several years now via general hobby pubs,
and perhaps also at auction.
These five pictures have the '#4' car with a black lower-body side stripe with yellow 'AMX/III' lettering in it.
The front and rear views have no 'AMX/3' markings of any kind, and it wears an AMC logo rear license plate.
Some attributes to make note of for this car are the lack of side-marker lights and
brake scoops ahead of the rear tires, and the extra centered hood scoop.
Also, note the 1982ish Firebird tail lights.
These 31 pictures all seem to show the same car later,
after replacing the side stripes with larger, simpler 'AMX/3' markings
Also, 'AMX/3' markings have been added to the front and rear ends,
and the AMC plate is gone.
Send me your every thought!
